Windjammer Leathercraft began the way most worthwhile things do quietly, at a workbench, with a piece of leather and a lot of questions. What started as a self-taught hobby when recreating something I previously owned became something more, a calling to make goods that last, products you can pass down to the next generation, and a business rooted in the belief that the things we carry every day should be worth carrying.
Every piece that leaves our shop is made by hand in Greenville, South Carolina using full grain vegetable tanned leather. This leather is widely known in the saddle making industry and craftsmen have relied on it for centuries. The leather develops a rich patina unique to the way you live, the pocket you keep it in, the adventures you take it on. No two pieces age exactly alike.
